Paternity Testing and DNA Testing
Paternity and DNA Testing Services by Austin Mobile Drug Testing
DNA paternity testing compares an alleged fathers DNA with his/her alleged child. The process uses a 24-marker genetic analysis in combination with a double-blind process. When a man is not excluded, this testing method may provide results that show a high likelihood (99.9999%) that he is the father. (This will determine if the alleged father is the actual biological father of the child).
Austin Mobile Drug Testing will telephone you and give you a verbal by telephone. A full report of your DNA test can be faxed, mailed or picked up at our office location. We will have the originals mailed to us with the embossed notary seal and the Laboratory Directors signature. This should take a few days after receiving the result. Our DNA Paternity Test is 99% accurate and is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks. Our Test can be used in National or International Courts.
TESTING PROCEDURES
Our Paternity Testing is done with DNA samples that are collected from the alleged father and the child by a Buccal Swab (buccal swab are Q-tips). A Technician will gently swab the inner cheek of each person being testing with the buccal swab. No blood drawn or pain involved!
Each tested person is done one at a time and sealed in separate envelopes. Each envelope is labeled with the clients information. (The Mother Does Not Need to Be Present for Testing,) It is up to the client to inform the Mother of the test.
Chain of Custody Forms (CCF) are used for the parties basic information such as: Name, date of birth, phone number, etc. A government issued I.D. must be used for identification (birth certificate and/ or social security card for children).
A notarized document will be provided with the results. The test does not have to be court ordered.
